It is known that Telangana government has announced a special increment to Telangana employees on the eve of state formation. Telangana government has decided to give the increment only in Telangana native employees initially but later up on legal alert decided to extend it to Seema Andhra Employees who are also working for the Telangana government. Government has decided to give this increment to employees who participated in Telangana movement but got retired before the state formation.
Funds from this increment will be allotted by Finance department very soon and a date of issue will also be fixed. Government is also planning to name the amount as ‘Telangana Formation Increment’ in the payslip of the employees so as to remind employees about Telangana government. Some of the Telangana employees will be going to Seema Andhra by that time. It is said that Telangana government is planning to issue them increment through AP government and later reimburse the amount from Telangana treasury.
