Telangana elections really have hit the climax point with the polls on 30 November. The parties have started to enforce strict election management and have started assembling the voters.
A leading party MLA candidate from Khammam has started to doll out cash rewards of Rs 3000 per vote while the MLA candidate from another party has started to give out Rs 2000 cash per vote.
The candidate who is giving Rs 3000 per vote is also giving a full bottle of liquor to expecting voters. He is a big spender, as it appears. Even the candidate who is giving Rs 2000 per vote is giving a smaller bottle of liquor.
The party leaders and election management cadre have started to collect the data of the voters along with their phone numbers to make sure that they poll every vote that they paid the money for, say reports.
In another constituency in the Nizamabad district, an MLA candidate is even giving cookers and sarees to the voters, along with the customary cash reward.
As it turns out, money, liquor, sarees, and cookers are ruling the roost in the Telangana elections. Apart from that, they are feeding people with meat dishes and even giving them free liquor at these specially erected election facilities.
