Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay has created a new wave in Tamil Nadu politics. His TVK party is the single largest party in Tamil Nadu Assembly and great things are expected of him now.
However, the journey from a political leader to the chief minister of Tamil Nadu is not going to be easy for Vijay at this point in time.
Apparently, the governor of Tamil Nadu has instructed Vijay to come back with full scale list of MLAs support to form the government. Reportedly, he was asked to submit the list of 118 MLAs who are supporting him as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu.
As of now, Vijay has support of 112 MLAs including the 5 members from Congress. Vijay will now need to find the support of the rest of the six MLAs from other parties if he wants to take charge as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu tomorrow.
There are Media reports that the governor has instructed that Vijay must submit the list of MLA by tonight. This time, sensitive matter, makes it all the more tough for Vijay to make sure that he generates adequate support from the legislative members.
While everyone thought that Vijay would be taking charge as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu tomorrow, May 7, this is going to be a complex process with multiple factors involved.
