Nara Lokesh’s Yuva Galam Padayatra is going on in Chittoor district. Lokesh is currently walking in the Sri Kalahasthi constituency and is drawing huge crowds everywhere.
The government is troubling the Padayatra a lot in the name of G.O. No. 1. TDP is alleging that as many as thirty police vehicles are following Lokesh in the Padayatra.
“Twenty SIs, Ten CIs, Six DSPs, and many constables are following Lokesh’s Padayatra in thirty vehicles. They are trying to ensure he does not speak to the people. They are not allowing sound vehicles. Even in small villages, they are trying to prevent Lokesh from addressing people by grabbing the mike. They are even grabbing the stool he is standing on,” they allege.
“In the name of the MLC elections code, the police are also removing the Banners and flags of the party along the route. “There are no such instructions from the EC. Also, they have a problem only with TDP material while flexes of local YSRCP MLA Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy are all over the constituency,” they are saying.
Lokesh was to have a darshan at the famous Sri Kalahasti temple today but the police are trying to prevent him. They are not even allowed to set the camp of Lokesh in five Kilometers radius of the town.
Meanwhile, Police are also refusing permission for Chandrababu’s roadshow in Anaparthi in the name of G.O.1. “The permission was initially given but was revoked after the success of the first day tour in the district,” TDP leaders are saying.
