Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had decided not to contest the GHMC elections. The party announced not contesting the elections. It did not even spell its support to BJP or TRS to be in the good books of both the parties.
However, taking a dig at TRS Leadership, BJP’s newly-elected MLA, Raghunandhan Rao made shocking comments on Late YSR’s death. It has been shocking that the BJP MLA took the name of YSR even though the YSR Congress is not active in Telangana politics.
It has happened on Sunday yet there is no single response from either Jagan or his party men. He could not even a condemning statement at least by the Telangana leaders of the party (There are a couple of namesake leaders of YSRCP in Telangana).
“Such is the situation of Jagan who could not even blink an eye which will anger the BJP leadership. Even insensitive remarks on his father’s death could not move him. We believed this man will stand up to the Central Government and fight for our rights. Any statement by YSRCP may influence Reddy voters in GHMC and BJP will be at the received end. That would send CBI and ED to his doorstep. This is the best example of Jagan’s complete surrender to BJP. ,” the Opposition leaders allege.
