Farmers who have been protesting in favor of ‘Three Capitals’ in Mandadam for the last four years finally decided to vacate their tent. They closed down the protest site and joined the Telugu Desam Party in the presence of Lokesh today.

The Three Capitals protest is a manufactured protest in the capital region by the YSR Congress to dilute the agitation of the farmers.

But then, at the stroke of elections, those involved gave up and joined the Telugu Desam Party in the presence of Lokesh.

The Capital issue became crucial in Krishna and Guntur districts ahead of the elections.

YSR Congress candidates are facing resistance and insults from the people for bringing the capital to a grinding halt.

The YSR Congress especially in Mangalagiri is looking at a massive defeat due to the impact of Lokesh and the capital issue.

Jagan fielded a BC Woman against Nara Lokesh in Mangalagiri hoping that the BC card and Woman card would help. As of now, all surveys are pointing at a big victory of Nara Lokesh.

In the 2019 elections, Lokesh lost by a margin of 5,337 votes. He vowed to win by the same majority by adding a zero at the end i.e., 53,370 votes.
