Vijay Devarakonda has arrived in the theatres again with his latest film Ranabaali. This film is currently running in theatres to a reasonably successful capacity.
But there is one major shortcoming with regard to this film in terms of technical aspect, and it is regarding the musical composition. The kind of background score that is created by Ajay and Atul from Bollywood is not domesticated enough.
For instance, there is the interval sequence in the film and the homecoming episode in the second half, which require adrenaline pumping background score. But this music director duo of Ajay and Atul came up with non sync stuff there.
This would naturally open up the discussion about the possible alternatives for this music composition aspect as there is a lot of debate happening.
Many people are commenting that even Thaman could have done a lot more justice to certain visual scenes in this film, which required pulsating background scores. A solid background score could have done a word of difference for this film.
Thaman is indeed commercial in nature, but he has it in him to deliver top grade musical stuff when he gets the right kind of aesthetic of the film and the essence. He can literally elevate the whole experience on his own.
This is definitely a creative choice made by the director and the makers to go with Ajay Atul. But with a solid score pattern, the film could’ve landed in a significantly better cinematic experience zone.
