Andhra Pradesh is the youngest state of India. But it has some of the richest people in India due to their shrewd mentality and hard work of generations of Telugus.
Now, Association For Democratic Reforms (ADR) has declared that the richest three legislators in India are from Andhra Pradesh. The list took into consideration MPs and MLAs.
On top was Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy with disclosed assets of Rs 716.33 crore, MLA from Kovur belonging to the TDP. Next was Reddappagari Madhavi Reddy, TDP MLA from Kadapa with a net worth of Rs 388.10 crore. The third person is Jana Sena’s Nellimarla MLA Lokam Naga Madhavi with a net worth of Rs 291.17 crore.
24 women MLAs and MPs were analyzed from AP with an average of Rs 74.22 crore. On the other hand, the national average was at Rs 17.30 crore, nearly 4 times less than that of AP legislators.
This comes as no surprise as enthusiastic and women from influential families contested in elections thanks to the promise of TDP and brand Chandrababu.
