TTD to Build 1000 Temples to Curb Conversions!

The TTD Board has announced plans to build 1000 temples across the state to curb the rising number of conversions. The decision was taken during the Board meeting held on Tuesday, as confirmed by TTD chairman BR Naidu.

Naidu revealed that at least six temples will be constructed in each Assembly constituency. Funds from Srivani Trust will be utilised for this massive temple construction project, which aims to stop or reduce conversions in the state.

He also shared key updates regarding Brahmotsavalu celebrations. For the first time, ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) will monitor the event. The Brahmotsavalu will begin on September 23 and continue from September 24 to October 2.

On September 24, dhvajarohanam will be held in Meena lagna. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu and his wife will offer silk clothes to the deity. VIP break darshans will remain suspended for ten days during Brahmotsavams.

The temple authorities expect nearly three lakh devotees for the Garuda Seva on September 28. To prevent children from getting lost during the celebrations, authorities will geo-tag them for safety. A bulletin with detailed plans was released earlier.
