TTD announces new VIP darshan rule

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has introduced a new rule for VIP darshans at Tirumala. TTD chairman BR Naidu announced that the VIP break darshan timings, which used to start at 10 am, will now be completed by 8.30 am to ease the rush.

Naidu said that daily annadanam is being conducted at Ontimitta with an expenditure of Rs 4 crore. At Alipiri, security upgrades are underway with new scanners, while cyber fraud in ticket and prasadam distribution has also been identified and addressed by the authorities.

According to him, several fake websites have already been shut down, and TTD is planning to set up a cyber fraud lab to curb such scams. He further revealed plans to increase Tirumala’s forest cover from 90 percent to 110 percent in the coming years.

Naidu also stated that the kalyanakatta at Tirumala will soon adopt the latest technology. Devotional books will be printed and distributed free of cost to devotees. The initiative aims to spread Hindu dharma and enrich the spiritual experience of pilgrims visiting Tirumala.

The TTD chairman said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu wishes to see TTD temples established in all states of India. Talks are underway with several state governments, and once lands are allotted, construction works for the new temples will begin.
