Telangana government is alleging that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam is insulting it. Usually, TTD honours the VIP recommendation letters of other states before the state bifurcation. But now Telangana government says that TTD is not honouring the recommendation letters of it.

They say even the letters of Chief Minister’s Office is also being ignored. It is said that the phone calls of Telangana CMO were also ignored by TTD’s EO and JEO offices. Ministers, MLAs, MLCs and officials are complaining to Telangana CMO that they are being insulted by TTD.
Telangana CM KCR appointed IAS officer Burra Venkatesham to look in to the issue. He will be sitting with TTD officials and will be submitting a detailed report about the issue.
