As we have reported multiple times, the social media app X, formerly Twitter, has increasingly become a hub for toxic behavior. A section of users is making the platform unsafe, using it to harass others in the name of fandom or caste-based fights. This mostly comes from fans of Telugu stars, each of whom has a small group of followers on Twitter whose primary activity seems to be abusing others, with absolutely no limits to their words.
Recently, this harassment has moved beyond text posts to Twitter Spaces, where users verbally abuse others in real time. A particularly abusive session occurred today, highlighting just how toxic the platform has become due to a small but extremely disruptive group of these Telugu hero fans.

Chinmayi who has been vocal against such abuse escalated the matter to V.C. Sajjanar, who responded by tagging the Hyderabad Cybercrime and Hyderabad Police Department to take action. Following this escalation, many of the abusers immediately deactivated their accounts, though some are already being tracked across other social media platforms.
With the Cybercrime Department now involved, there is hope that some concrete action will be taken. Until authorities act, such harassment will continue unchecked. The extreme toxicity, particularly in the name of Telugu heroes fandom and caste is making this platform unsafe for women and children. This has been a major concern for many, but it has finally reached the right person. V.C. Sajjanar is in a position to enforce measures that could curb this behavior and ensure accountability for online abuse. Hopefully, he will take this seriously and start addressing it, as the toxicity has now reached an extreme level.
