Telangana High Court has heard the petition filed by YSR Congress MP Raghuram Krishna Raju seeking revocation of the bail of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Raghu Rama has filed a petition seeking revocation of Jagan’s bail in the case.
But then, the CBI court had earlier struck down a petition filed by Raghu Rama Krishna Raju seeking revocation of Jagan’s bail. The Narasapuram MP approached the Telangana High Court after the CBI court refused to cancel his bail. The court has heard the arguments of both sides.
After hearing arguments today, the court adjourned the hearing on the petition for two weeks. Meanwhile, the high court is also hearing a petition filed by Jagan Mohan Reddy seeking personal exemption from court hearings. The CBI has opposed giving any such exemption to the Chief Minister.
The court has reserved the verdict in this case and it is likely to be out this week. It has to be seen if both these verdicts will come in this month itself. Adverse rulings in one or both the cases can be fatal to YSR Congress.
