The Opposition had become active on the ground. Chandrababu Naidu is attending two roadshows per day and there are also joint roadshows by Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan.
AP BJP President Purandeshwari will go and concentrate on the Rajahmundry Lok Sabha segment. BJP Central Leaders will join Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan for the joint roadshows and public meetings in the days to come.
The Opposition is going all out touching issues like Viveka’s Murder, Kodi Kathi, etc. They are also speaking about issues like prices, failure to bring jobs, bad roads, etc.
But then, only sensational issues like Viveka’s Murder, Kodi Kathi, neglecting sisters, etc are getting the major limelight.
Some of the important issues that will pinch the public are not getting enough mentions and enough traction.
For example, the new financial year has started and the property tax demands are being issued to the people.
Like every year in the last four years, the property tax in urban areas has gone up by 15%.
The property tax in Andhra Pradesh is among the highest in the country. Raking the issue when the public receives the demand notices will make them feel the pinch.
Also, this is the Summer season. The Power bills will naturally go up. Moreover, Jagan increased power tariffs in Andhra Pradesh ten times after coming to power. The issue should be exposed more.
Chandrababu is talking about it in his speeches but then, there should be an orchestrated campaign to take it more into the people.
The Opposition leaders should take note of it.
