UK PM mentions Amaravati in Britain Parliament

UK Prime Minister David Cameron AmaravatiPrime Minister Narendra Modi is currently touring United Kingdom to strengthen the bilateral relations with the country. Modi addressed the British Parliament becoming the First Indian Prime Minister to do so. Later in his speech of thanks, UK Prime Minister David Cameron spoke about his vision for the collaboration of both India and UK.

He mentioned that UK is committed to strategic partnership between both the countries. He also extended UK cooperation in developing three smart cities in India – Amaravati, Pune and Indore. This is an example to tell how Amaravati is making buzz in international arena.

Already few teams of UK have visited Amaravati and is in touch with CRDA officials over the possibility of partnering in the Capital construction. And now this mention by the Prime Minister himself will establish UK’s interest in that direction.
