When Nara Bhuvaneswhari announced Nijam Gelavali yatra, YCP troops made fun of her, saying she has no political experience and her yatra will end up as a damp squib. They claimed that Bhuvaneswhari is not a crowd puller.
But with the first day of Nijam Gelavali today, Bhuvaneshwari has broken the backs of YCP as she was fiery with her speech and could deliver a commanding oration amidst a huge crowd.
Bhuvaneshwari was nowhere to be seen in politics till a few months ago, but she is having to step out now with her husband CBN sent on remand.
Bhuvaneshwari was fierce with her speech as she said “No women should face my situation. Women in the state are scared to even step out as there is a rape culture in the state and there’s infinite supply of Ganjai(Marijuana). There’s no law and order. The innocent class is suffocating while this government makes a mockery of Ambedkar constituency”.
Bhuvaneshwari was affirmative with her statements and she evidently had an instant connect with the female attendees for the massive public meeting in Chittoor district today.
While the YCP grossly underestimated Bhuvaneshwari, she has exceeded the expectations and set the ball rolling on a stellar note. If she can maintain the intensity, or even pick it up further, this could well be the game-changer for TDP and game-over for YCP.
