Vallabhaneni Vamsi was once one of the most prominent leaders in Andhra Pradesh politics, and he had a lot of vigour and fight in him. But everything evaporated after he joined the YSR Congress ecosystem and started abusing Chandrababu and his family.
Vamsi, then face the consequences for his earlier actions as the return of the India government warranted his jail term, which took a toll on him.
After the onset of the NDA government, Vamsi has simply not been the same as he lost the touch in his continency and has become nearly irrelevant in Andhra Pradesh politics.
The people of Gannavaram delivered a strong verdict against Vamsi, who had never tested defeat from here till 2024. This defeat change the graph entirely for him as he became stagnated and silent to a large degree.
Today Vamsi stepped out at a brief capacity to take part in the protest against the DSC examination that was called by YS Jagan. But he kept his speech very brief and did not make much noise either.
Fundamentally, Vamsi is still putting it out there that he is staying afloat in politics but the trademark fire and zeal have almost entirely disappeared now. This can be considered as one of the biggest downfall for an independently popular leader in AP politics.
