Vallabhaneni Vamsi is today a con man who is in 14-day remand following his arrest in Hyderabad.
A producer of films like Adhurs and Touch Chesi Choodu, Vallabhaneni Vamsi entered politics through the Telugu Desam party. He won twice, in 2014, 2019, as a MLA from Gannavaram against YSRCP leaders.

Surprisingly, after complaining against the ‘vindictive politics’ of the ruling YSRCP he joined the very same YSRCP later in 2020.
At the time, he claimed he had 25 years friendship with YS Jagan and he was doing it for the welfare of the people in Gannavaram.

In another surprise move, just like in movies, Vamsi attacked the Gannavaram TDP office in 2021. This case didn’t get traction during YSRCP rule for obvious reasons, but the case has come back to bite him in the back!
And now, Jagan is silent about Vamsi’s plight. Once upon a time friend appears to have deserted Vamsi at the time of need.

So, what’s the moral of the story? Jagan uses people and then discards them when they no longer serve his purpose. Didn’t we see his reaction to Vijaysai Reddy’s exit?
Had Vamsi continued with TDP, he would have retained his Gannavaram seat and even got a cabinet berth for winning thrice. But he not only lost his seat, he has lost credibility among people and is in remand!
