Smitha Sabharwal, a very efficient district collector who has impressive track record in Medak and Karimnagar districts. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao was so impressed with her work and immediately appointed her as Additional Secretary of Chief Minister’s Office. However Smitha is not at all happy working with the Chief Minister. People close to Smitha reveals that working with KCR is very demanding physically and mentally.
KCR is that kind of person when he wants some thing to know or some thing to be done, he wants it to be executed at the very next moment. He is banking on Smitha for that every time but fulfilling his demands is not possible for Smitha all of the time for various reasons and she is said to be under severe pressure. It is said that Mrs. Smitha Sabharwal now wants to go back as district collector where she feels can effectively work. On the other side, Smitha Sabharwal’s husband Akun Sabharwal is currently serving National Police Academy as Central cadre. Akun is a proven honest officer and KCR is planning to bring him to state cadre and use his services for Telangana.
