Chief minister Thalapathy Vijay is currently enjoying the status of one of the most impactful chief minister in South India, as virtually everything has does is grabbing the attention on social media.
At this point in time, Vijay needs to do many things right in order to maintain this positive impact with the common folk. And now he is faced with a significant challenge at the administrative and party level.
Incidentally, for the last 24 hours, there is this one particular viral video involving a member of Vijay’s cabinet ministers, who is facing a serious allegation.
This particular minister is captured on video where he is seen arranging a white powdery substance while watching a game of IPL in Chennai. Many people are commenting that this is a public display of drug consumption and are calling for the firing of this minister from the cabinet.
Social media trial is happening at an aggressive pace, and the minister is facing complaints of drug consumption all over, while the narrative buildups for his removal from cabinet.
This is a problematic yet time sensitive situation that has come up in front of chief minister Vijay and the responsibility is on him to take a strong decision. The social media theory is such that the CM must immediately fire the minister for what has happened.
But at the same time, this cannot be a hurried decision as the minister tried to cover up the issue by saying he was giving medicine to his daughter while referring to the white powder.
