Social media has emerged as one of the primary platforms for any political or social movements these days and we are witnessing whole governments being toppled with these campaigns.
For instance, we have the case of Tamil Nadu politics as Thalapathy Vijay was able to become the CM and his very first campaign, and this is largely due to the social media narratives that he was able to build with his team.
The good thing about Vijay is that he is continuing the social media strategy, even after becoming the CM and is incredibly consistent at it. Virtually everything he does, the CM is getting highlighted on social media.
Earlier it was multiple reports about how CM Vijay is spending at least 9 to 10 hours a day at the CM Office and interacting with the public. This was followed by his public ride on government bus, which was highlighted for a couple of days. Yesterday, it was his presence at an operation shop, which was highlighted.
Incidentally, a video of Vijay pouring rice into the bag of a common lady was carried so very widely with the narrative that the CM is so very Prakash that he did not drop a single rice grain while delivering the supply. This is the pic of the PR and campaign game that is being executed by Vijay’s team.
Literally everything Vijay does is ending up on social media and is being carried an extremely positive way. The execution and results have been flawless till now as Vijay has gained a unanimous positive reaction in his first couple of months at the office.
This is perhaps a case study for any other hero, who is also willing to enter politics in South India as Vijay is doing a brilliant job with this social media game. As of now, there is no one who can beat him at this game and all they can do is take a few lessons on how well he is executing it.
