Former Rajya Sabha MP Vijayasai Reddy attended ED Investigation about AP Liquor Scam.
After the investigation that lasted for more than seven hours, Sai Reddy spoke to the media.
“I am sidelined in the party from 2020 itself. YSR Congress Social Media is doing a negative propaganda on my assets. I have nothing but an apartment in Vishakapatnam. When the party is facing cases and scams, they are branding me as the Number Two in the party when it comes to making profits, my number is not even in one to hundred,” Vijayasai Reddy said.
Sai Reddy who previously announced that he would retire from politics and do agriculture went back on that word.
“I am not retiring from politics. I will announce my political comeback to the media in coming June,” he announced.
Sai Reddy said something very interesting about Journalist Sai.
“Journalist Sai made a video saying that I will be starting a new political party soon and it will be supported by Chandrababu Naidu. He said I will get financial support from him and become his partner. I don’t know who told him. I think he used his own imagination. Journalist Sai is YSR Congress Paytm batch. He is one among many youtubers who receives payment every month from YSR Congress,” he said.
“Paytm batch” is a slang term used sarcastically in Andhra Pradesh politics. It refers to a supposed group of online supporters, social media handles, or propagandists linked to YSR Congress Party who are accused of being “paid” to post, defend the party, spread propaganda, troll opponents, or share fake news.
Vijayasai Reddy just ratified that term by using it in a Pressmeet.
Also, he may have destroyed the credibility of Journalist Sai in one go.
Journalist Sai is a former journalist who does political commentary using his own YouTube Channel. He is one of popular political voices of Andhra Pradesh Politics.
He is always accused of being favorable towards YSR Congress but Sai Reddy exposed about him receiving payments from the YSR Congress.
Since Sai Reddy is the organizational man of YSR Congress till the last year, he definitely have credible information about these payments.
Sai would now regret rubbing Vijayasai Reddy on the wrong side.
