
Ex Rajya Sabha MP and ex YSRCP leader Vijaysai Reddy attended the enquiry by AP CID. He appeared before CID with regards to the irregularities in Kakinada Port case. In the past, Sai Reddy appeared before the ED regarding the same case.
It is alleged that during Jagan’s term, Vijaysai Reddy was involved in forcefully taking shares worth Rs 3600 crore from owner Karnati Venkateswara Rao (KV Rao) in the Kakinada Sea Port Limited (KSPL) Kakinada SEZ.

The CID has issued fresh notices in the case to Vijsysai Reddy. It was mentioned that Vijaysai Reddy must present himself on Wednesday morning at CID office.
Vijayasai Reddy is the second accused or A2 while Jagan’s uncle YV Subba Reddy’s son Vikranth Reddy is A1. The ED found that money laundering happened in Kakinada Port and Kakinada SEZ case, following which they filed a case under Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

Two months back, Sai Reddy was questioned by ED. Now he has appeared before CID regarding the same case.
The notices might come as a surprise to Vijaysai Reddy as he has been trying to show his proximity to the BJP leaders. There are strong rumours that he might join BJP in a couple of months.
