Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh has called for a statewide protests against the increase in Petrol, Diesel, and Domestic Gas Cylinder prices. TDP leaders across the state have organized protests but one protest by Damacherla Janardhan in Ongole has gone viral on social media.
They have announced that the bike has passed away unable to bear the Petrol Prices. They have even arranged a procession for its final journey. This kind of protests may seem absurd for some but they go viral on social media and Whatsapp serving the purpose.
Petrol and Diesel Prices in the country are burning a hole in the pockets of the common man. The rates of Petrol are inching towards 110 Rupees per liter in some states. Andhra Pradesh has the highest State Tax on Petrol and Diesel on one name or the other.
The Principal Opposition is demanding the lowering of Fuel Prices and save the common man from this burden.
