Vishaka Parliament is always known to be a high-profile one with popular leaders contesting from there. Earlier Nedurumelli Janardhan Reddy and Purandhareshwari have become MPs here.
For some reason, the seat is always a pick of outsiders and the public also votes for such people as their representatives. Ahead of 2024, Vishaka Parliament is again turning high profile.
Bharath who lost on the TDP ticket with a slender difference is going to contest again. Bharath is the chairman of GITAMs and the Son-in-law of Nandamuri Balakrishna.
JD Lakshminarayana also announced contesting from the same seat but it is not cleared yet from which party he will contest.
From BJP, Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao is expecting the ticket, we are told. Vishaka has a big influx of North Indians due to the central agencies present there. BJP should be their natural choice. So, GVL is fancying his chances there banking on the Modi wave.
The ruling party has decided to change the sitting MP MVV Satyanarayana. He may be sent to the Vishaka East constituency. YSR Congress is being careful in the candidate selection.
It looks like the election is once again becoming high-profile.
