For a while now, there have been complaints about the operations at the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) and now there’s another complaint in this regard.
BJP senior leader Vishnu Vardhan Reddy has stated that the TTD funds are being wrongly used.
“It isn’t right to misuse the funds that are a part of TTD earnings and assets. It is established that these TTD funds are being used to develop projects in Tirupati and this isn’t the right usage of the funds that come from the holy shrine.” Vishnu Vardhan commented.
He added that the AP government is meddling with the TTD funds to generate projects in Tirupati. He advised the state government to instead use the funds from state budget for this purpose.
The fact that the BJP leader stated TTD funds are getting wrongly used have become a hot topic on social media.
It has to be seen if the YCP government will mend their ways with this statement from the BJP veteran.
