Media Reports are emerging that the seat-sharing between TDP, Janasena, and BJP is completed.
They say the BJP will get to contest from Six Assembly seats and Six Parliament seats.
While different names are spreading in the media about the possible seats of BJP, Vizag and Vijayawada are figuring in some media reports and that is causing a major worry for the TDP supporters.
Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam are the strategically important seats in Andhra Pradesh. It is important that they are under the ruling party if TDP comes to power.
Chandrababu Naidu went for an alliance with the BJP not because the party is popular with the people. But to deny Jagan the co-operation from the Central Government and for the support of Delhi in rebuilding Andhra Pradesh.
If these seats go to the BJP, there will be electioneering problems.
TDP has got big support of the people of Vishakapatnam. If they are confused with a candidate from the BJP, there can be issues in the vote transfer. The seat fell into the YSR Congress account when such confusion was created in 2019 after Janasena fielded JD Lakshminarayana.
If Vizag goes to the BJP, GVL Narasimha Rao is likely to be the candidate. TDP voters will not vote for him and the seat will be lost once again.
Both Vizag and Vijayawada candidates will have the influence over all the seven Assembly constituencies under their seats. If BJP contests, there will be problems in maintaining the right coordination between the candidates.
