The Center advised the state governments to conduct mock drills and prepare the citizens for safety measures. The Center told the states to provide information about how to behave if an emergency situation arises.

Turkey, a major ally of Pakistan has already sent warships to Pakistan and China conducted a military drill at the north-eastern border of India, escalating tension.
During security drills, air raid warning sirens will be activated. Students and civilians will be trained on civil defense in case of attack. There would be provisions for crash blackouts and early camouflaging of vital plants and installations, according to government sources.
