There is currently speculation circulating on social media about MP Vijayasai Reddy, the senior leader and NO-2 figure in the YSRCP, retiring from politics. It is being claimed that CM YS Jagan Reddy himself announced this, stating that Vijayasai is no longer fit for politics due to his age. This news has gained momentum as some YSRCP leaders and workers are also sharing similar information.
YS Jagan expressed concerns about Vijayasai’s age, stating that he is unable to fulfill all the responsibilities in the party. Consequently, YS Jagan has assigned the tasks previously handled by Vijayasai to CheviReddy Bhaskar Reddy. Vijayasai Reddy’s close association with the YS family is well-known, and he has played a significant role in the YSRCP’s rise to power, earning him the trust and confidence of YS Jagan. However, it is now being claimed that Vijayasai’s leadership and intelligence have diminished compared to before.
The situation has apparently changed over the past several months, and Vijayasai is no longer in a strong position within the party. Despite his crucial role in the party’s success, he is now considered just an ordinary activist. YS Jagan has removed him from all posts, leaving him with only his position as a Rajya Sabha member. There are speculations that if Vijayasai’s term in the Rajya Sabha expires, he may be entirely sidelined within the party.
The responsibilities previously held by Vijayasai, such as Chairman of Uttarandhra TTD, have been assigned to his father YV Subbareddy. The responsibility for social media has been given to Sajjala Bhargav Reddy, while affiliated associations have been assigned to Chevireddy. These changes have contributed to a perceived widening of the gap between YS Jagan and Vijayasai Reddy.
In fact, Nandamuri Tarakaratna took care of everything from the time of his illness until his death and the last rites. Because Alekhya Reddy (wife’s sister’s daughter) Sai Reddy’s daughter will line up. In this process, there were reports that Sai Reddy became very close to the Nandamuri and Nara families. Moreover, there were reports that YS Jagan did not like being very close to TDP leader Chandrababu.
Furthermore, as Jagan’s illegal assets case reaches its final stage, there are allegations that Vijayasai is being sidelined due to potential circumstances that may arise. The news of Jagan’s remarks regarding Vijayasai’s retirement has reportedly been distressing for Vijayasai, who already held no official position within the party.
