Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was in Delhi the other day meeting Home Minister Amit Shah and the other Union Ministers when the news broke out about the passing away of a Key Witness in YS Vivekananda Reddy Murder Case.

Watchman Ranganna who is the eye witness in the case passed away. He has been unwell for quite sometime and passed away while being treated.

He is the Fourth Witness to breathe his last while the trial is going on. He is the second eye witness to pass away.

It’s been eight months since the new Government came into Power. All the accused in the case are YSR Congress leaders including Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy and his father.

When CBI took over the case, the then Jagan Mohan Reddy government did all it can to stall the investigation and at one stage, it even registered a case on the CBI officer.

The then Government did not even allowed the arrest of Avinash Reddy despite a warrant. The CBI had to declare arrest without even arrest and later released him on Bail.

But the case did not move an inch after the elections. It looks like the BJP is pulling the strings on the CBI managing both TDP and YSR Congress.

Despite the Central Government depending on TDP for its Survival, Chandrababu Naidu is supporting the NDA unconditionally.

BJP already grabbed a Rajya Sabha seat in the recent vacant seats. It is also asking for an MLC Seat and Vijayasai Reddy. It is trying to have a larger pie than Janasena despite being the most minor partner in the alliance.

Forget doing a favor, it can not even ensure a free and fair trial in Viveka‘s case. And then we have the leadership of TDP and Janasena being over obedient to Modi.

Probably the case will be dragged until all the witnesses are dead or killed. The case will be finished anyway.

And then, we come to the question on whose side – Modi and Shah are on?
