AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy infamously hits Pawan Kalyan below the belt every now and then. He has done the same thing now as he called Pawan Kalyan a non-local package star.
“This Pawan Kalyan stays in Hyderabad all year long and comes to Andhra on weekends to bark at us. He contested in Telangana and turned out to be useless. In fact, Barrelakka got more votes than his party in the Telangana elections” Jagan said.
If Jagan really thinks Pawan Kalyan is so irrelevant and is smaller than Barrelakka, then what’s the reason for him to bring the latter’s name in his public meeting? Doesn’t this indicate that Jagan is worried about Pawan’s impact in the election? If he thinks otherwise he could’ve avoided using Pawan’s name.
If Jagan really is firm on his 175/175 slogan, the he need not hit Pawan Kalyan below the belt by calling him a package star and a marriage star. Him trying to belittle the JSP chief itself shows the degree of concern Jagan has.
Amidst reports that the TDP-JSP alliance could rule the roost in Andhra Pradesh in the coming election, we could be seeing more such provocation from Jagan and his men.
