Penamaluru seat of Krishna district hogged all media headlines for the past few weeks.
Penamaluru is a strong seat of the TDP due to the dominant presence of the Kamma community. There were reports that Bode Prasad, the former MLA of Penamaluru will be denied ticket this time.
Bode is known to be very accessible to people but then, there are reports that he ignored the local leaders and cadre this time. Also, there are reports of his close proximity to Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi angering the party’s high command.
A big drama ensued after that. We have seen Bode Prasad coming before the media and making emotional statements. There was also a video where his entire family is seen in tears.
There are numerous debates and discussions about who will contest from Penamaluru and if Bode will turn rebel.
Finally, Bode Prasad’s name was figured in the third list of TDP today.
If Bode Prasad is the candidate, why did Chandrababu allow so much high drama?
