The Then Guntur Sitting MP Galla Jayadev withdrew from Politics thanks to the Vendetta Politics of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
In his final political Pressmeet, Jayadev reveals how despite contributing 1200 Crore State Tax and 3800 Crore Central Tax, he is subjected to witch-hunting by the state departments and central agencies like CBI and ED.

Pemmasani Chandrasekhar came as his replacement and won. He is now the Union Minister. Galla would have been easily a Cabinet Minister in Modi’s team if he did not withdraw from politics.
Meanwhile, there are rumors Chandrababu Naidu may send Jayadev to Rajya Sabha.

Two YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MPs — Mopidevi Venkata Ramana and Beeda Mastan Rao resigned from the party as well as their Rajya Sabha seats.
Naidu may send Galla in the place of Mopidevi while Beeda may get another nomination.

Jayadev is an excellent orator. During his stint in the Lok Sabha, Jayadev is always a strong voice of the TDP with subject and oratory skills.
This is a good selection especially because YSR Congress is a big party in the Upper House.
Jagan is trying to influence the Narendra Modi Government using his party’s numbers in Rajya Sabha to get immunity from the CBI and ED cases.
The Jagan’s Party would get more mike time by virtue of its numbers in the house.
While it is for Chandrababu to decimate the numbers, Speakers like Galla should effectively counter the YSR Congress on the floor of the house.
So, Jayadev will be a very good pick for Rajya Sabha.
