TDP leader Chandrababu’s arrest has left the BJP leadership surprisingly silent. However, a strong impression is emerging among the public that BJP leaders are, in fact, cooperating with Jagan’s desire to apprehend Babu.
Many believe that all of this is an effort to weaken the TDP and marginalize Chandrababu. It appears that the BJP’s current strategy is to keep its distance from Babu.
Chandrababu has extended a hand of friendship to the BJP and has refrained from criticizing the INDIA alliance.
Pawan Kalyan, the leader of Jana Sena and BJP’s alliance partner in Andhra Pradesh, has repeatedly expressed his support for CBN. This raises questions about whether Pawan Kalyan’s support for CBN aligns with the BJP’s directives.
Except for BJP AP President Purandreswari, none of the state or central leaders have made any substantial comments on CBN’s arrest. If Babu continues to face a barrage of legal cases and if TDP is further weakened by subsequent arrests, it appears that the BJP’s strategy may be to reposition itself.
