When there are back to back defections from T-TDP in Telangana, there is some sympathy on the party at least in some sections. T-TDP is repeatedly claiming it an act of unjust and there is a point in that. TDP in AP can also be seen in the wrong side as in the case of TRS in Telangana.

But that comment of Jagan to topple TDP government in an hour after getting 21 MLAs backfired. TDP leaders are defending the defections saying that their Operation Akarsha is to counter Jagan’s challenge. There are people who say TDP is doing that to prevent the chance of toppling their government.
Even after the defections, Jagan is continuing the statement that TDP MLAs will start coming to his party one year before the elections. These statements give a feel that Jagan is power hungry and is looking at dubious ways of overturning people’s mandate. However Jagan feels that such statements will instill confidence in his cadre and leaders but that seem to be not working on ground.
