BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha was sent to CBI custody yesterday due to her alleged involvement in the Delhi Liquor Scam case. The Rouse Avenue Court permitted CBI to take Kavitha into custody for three days.
Meanwhile, Kavitha’s brother and BRS Working President Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao will go to Dlehi tomorrow to meet her. He will visit Kavitha at CBI’s office located in Delhi.
This is the second time KTR is meeting Kavitha during her jail term. Even her mother met Kavitha recently. But BRS chief and Kavitha’s father, KCR, is yet to meet her. Neither did he speak about her arrest in public nor visit her in jail.
KCR’s silence on Kavitha’s arrest and his reluctance to meet her is now raising doubts among people as well as BRS leaders.
Maybe KCR does not want to lower his image by going to jail or by talking about it. But then, Kavitha deserves some solace from her father in this difficult hour.
We have to see if KCR opens up on the issue at least in the coming days.
