Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy is the Advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for public affairs. He has got a cabinet rank for it. There is no trace of any advice by Sajjala regarding anything that pertains to public affairs.

All that he does is do YSR Congress party work and give press meets criticizing the opponents.

There are allegations that Sajjala runs the entire show in the party and the government while Jagan remains a dummy.

Sajjala holds a Cabinet rank and is still doing party service.

But then with Model Code of Conduct in place, there are questions if he can do service to the party while drawing money from the public exchequer.

AP TDP President Atchennaidu wrote to the Election Commission on March 24th about Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy.

However, the election rules do not specify any action to be taken if the advisors cross the line.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena recently wrote a letter to Central Election Commission Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar to tell him what decision should be taken.

It is stated that there are 40 advisers in the government, out of which 9 are of cabinet rank, and the remaining 31 are in the P, Q, and R categories, and are enjoying the facilities by receiving salaries and allowances from the government.

We will have to see – Will the Election Commission serve a notice to him? or will the Commission terminate his services? Or will Sajjala resign to do the party service?
