For a long time, ever since former MP Vijaysai Reddy quit YSRCP, there have been strong rumours of he taking the bold step only to join a new party. When he resigned, Vijaysai Reddy spoke of political sanyas.
But he has changed his tune ever since. In his latest public appearance, he said he will soon announce which party he will be joining.
In AP, YSRCP and TDP are ruled out. That leaves Jana Sena. However, Vijaysai Reddy was the mediator between the BJP and Jagan during his time in the party. Hence, his next stop will be joining the BJP, say political insiders.
Recently, Sai Reddy posted a tweet regarding conversions and how the need of the hour was to stop conversions and save Hindu dharma. This single post clearly shows where his focus is, say political analysts.
His political allegiance has changed due to his name popping up in Kakinada port scam and his daughter’s name coming up in encroaching land on Bheemili Beach violating environmental norms.
Hence, Sai Reddy is said to be in talks with the top BJP leaders in Delhi. The hot rumour is that Vijaysai Reddy will join the BJP by summer. Having been an MP in the past, Vijaysai Reddy is said to be more interested in joining a national party. And BJP is his option, say political insiders.
