Even after two years after the state bifurcation, we continue to find that Congress led UPA government came up with a faulty bifurcation. Congress Senior Leader, the then Union Minister, Jairam Ramesh had testified this. Jairam Ramesh is one of the members who drafted AP Reorganization Bill back then.

He is then one who included about the increase of Assembly seats in both the states by 2019 elections. But the same person the other day was telling the increase can not happen as Section 26 of the act will have to abide by Article 170 in Indian Constitution which do not allow delimitation by 2026.
When that is the case, why did Jairam Ramesh or the UPA government ignored it back then? The Center had to leave out the issue just as many bifurcation promises or will have to bring a constitutional amendment to Article 170 to make sure delimitation can go on in both the Telugu states.
