Bharathi Blocks Sharmila Ads In Sakshi
There have been many talks about rifts between Jagan’s wife Bharathi and sister Sharmila. Many say the gap between the brother and sister is due to differences between the ladies.
But one Bhaskar Reddy from Kadapa says it is true. Bhaskar Reddy is a close friend of Late YSR and their family. He gives an ad with pictures of the entire family in Sakshi every year on YSR Jayanthi in July.
Like every year, he handed over the necessary design and the cheque for the local Sakshi staff. But they have rejected publishing the ad at the last minute citing that their Chairperson Bharathi gave an instruction not to allow ads with Sharmila’s photo.
Bhaskar Reddy has filed a case with the local police station and after no response, he approached the court seeking action against Bharathi under IPC Section- 420, 500, 120 (B), 34 for causing embarrassment and agony for him and his family.
“Late YSR always used to say I should protect Sharmila like my own sister. I will not let go this issue easily,” Bhaskar Reddy says.
Incidentally, Sharmila’s husband Brother Anil Kumar is also a minor shareholder in Sakshi. But then, the Newspaper and Channel has been under direct control of Bharathi for years now.
