Andhra Pradesh Government has allotted R&B Guest House as an accommodation to Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the upcoming Budget Session. There are five guest rooms, a hall for visitors, a kitchen and a parking lot in the guest house.

Earlier there was a proposal to allot a suite to him in the state guest house in Vijayawada. But then the plan was dropped due to the congestion and lack of meeting space for the MLAs. Earlier YSR Congress thought of renting a Private Building near Guntur for Jagan but then dropped the plan and requested the government for separate accommodation to Jagan.
According to the protocol, the government has to provide accommodation to all the members when the house is functioning but then there is no provision yet to provide accommodation in the New State and so, the state government had approved Rs 50,000 allowance to the members towards accommodation.
A couple of months ago, Jagan promised a permanent residence in the Capital, unlike Chandrababu who is living in a temporary residence. But then, even after three years of the bifurcation, Jagan and YSR Congress continues to operate from Hyderabad which is the common capital of both the Telugu States.
