Reports are emerging that Union Law Ministry has been directed to finalize the draft of the amendment Bill in consultation with the concerned ministry and it is almost certain that the bill will be introduced in the Monsoon Session of Parliament after seeking cabinet nod.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reportedly gave the nod to the Assembly seat increase. Not increasing the Assembly seats is one of the conditions laid by Jagan for his support to BJP’s Candidate in the upcoming Presidential Elections.
