Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is heading to the National Capital. This is the Chief Minister’s first visit to Delhi after the Coronavirus Outbreak. Sources say that Jagan is likely to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah in this short tour.
Rumors in the Political Circles are that the Chief Minister is taken back by the back to back adverse judgments in the courts and wants to take that to the notice of the Home Minister. The main discussion will be about the Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar case. BJP Senior Leader, Kamineni Srinivas filed a PIL in this issue.
Incidentally, Kamineni claimed before the media that he took the party high command’s permission before filing the case. It has to be seen if the Central Government will be of any help to Jagan in this issue. On the other side, the revenues of Andhra Pradesh have fallen down by 75% due to the Corona impact.
Meanwhile, the expenses are hitting the roof due to many welfare schemes. Jagan is also keen on giving a try to see if the Center can be of any help to the state.
