Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy lost his cool the other day and called ruling party MLAs as ‘Buffoons’. The comment became a big weapon in the hands of ruling party and completely turned the table against YSR Congress party. Instead of opposition party cornering the ruling party, TDP MLAs went on all round attack on YSR Congress on this aspect. Interestingly, the Law and Order issue which was pressed up on the house by the opposition party more revolved around Paritala Ravi and other political murders that took place during the Late YS Raja Sekhar Reddy’s regime cornering Jagan.
In fact, experts are of the opinion that YSR Congress’ Assembly strategy is flawed. A YSR Congress MLA on the condition of anonymity said, “When there are several issues like Loan Waiver, Budget to pin down the government, why we should press up on a new topic? And at the end it fired big time”. Many are of the opinion not initiating the discussion on budget and pressing on discussion for Political Violence itself will belittle YSR Congress in the people.
