YS Sharmila has become a headache for YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy since she entered AP politics.
After being appointed as the APCC president, Sharmila has been constantly criticizing Jagan Mohan Reddy. During the election campaign, she highlighted the Jagan government’s wrongdoings and exposed its corruption.
Even after the elections and the change in government, she has continued her criticism of her brother.
Earlier today, she questioned what Jagan and his party leaders do on YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s recent birth anniversary.
Sharmila organized a large event on her father’s birth anniversary, which was attended by various Congress leaders, including Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
“As a son, he should have organized a grand event on YSR’s Jayanti. But what did Jagan Mohan Reddy do?” Sharmila questioned.
“He went to YSR ghat in Idupulapaya. He didn’t even sit there. He stood there for five minutes and prayed just for the sake of it,” she said.
“You spent Rs.30-40 crores for every Siddham meeting but didn’t hold an event for YSR’s 75th birth anniversary. Is this how you respect your father and your leader?” she lamented.
The questions raised by Sharmila are genuine, exposing Jagan’s inconsistent stance regarding his father YSR.
Overall, Jagan is facing humiliation for securing only 11 seats on one side, while on the other side, he is repeatedly being exposed by his own sister Sharmila.
