YS Sharmila has once again hit out at YSRCP chief YS Jagan. But what is strange is that she never targets the ruling party despite the Congress and BJP never seeing eye to eye in the Center.
An opposition party despite being inconsequential in the state of Andhra Pradesh, should target the ruling party. At least, that is the norm. But in Sharmila’s case, the story is completely different. Her primary target is Jagan. Here, an opposition party is seen targeting another opposition party.
She misses no opportunity to target Jagan. Her latest accusation is that Jagan ran a mafia in Andhra Pradesh when he was in power. She alleged that drugs came into the state in containers and were distributed in the state. Sharmila further alleged that by doing away with digital payments in liquor sales, Jagan ran a liquor mafia.
It is known that Jagan was quite respectful towards the BJP. Sharmila pointed out that Jagan literally fell on BJP’s feet and accused Jagan of having the credit of running the state without a capital.
If the Congress were to come to power in AP, it would give 10 years of special status, said Sharmila.
Now questions are being raised about Sharmila’s intentions. Surely, no citizen of Andhra Pradesh has issues with Sharmila blaming Jagan. But what is Sharmila’s political agenda? Is it washing dirty linen against her brother for depriving her a share in property or playing the role of a true opposition party and raising issues relevant to the state?
The ruling TDP is capable of handling the wrong doings of Jagan. Can Sharmila stop talking about Jagan and give the people of Andhra Pradesh a break?
