Looks like TDP is confirmed to block Jagan’s trusted aide Vijaya Sai Reddy’s entry in to Rajya Sabha. By usual numbers, YSR Congress is entitled for a single Rajya Sabha seat while TDP is to get three. But with the mass exodus of YSR Congress MLAs in to TDP, the lone Rajya Sabha seat of YSRCP is also likely to go for TDP.

Already 13 MLAs of the party have joined TDP and more are looking at. Reports are emerging that Srisailam MLA, Budda Rajasekhar Reddy will be joining the party on Monday. He even refused to talk to Jagan on phone when the opposition leader tried to dissuade him. Addanki MLA, Gottipati Ravi Kumar is also almost confirmed.
Reports are emerging of more MLAs joining the party very soon by the time of Rajya Sabha elections. Few days ago Yanamala hinted that Jagan may very soon lose the Leader of Opposition status and things are looking like it is not an exaggerated statement even though reducing YSR Congress to 29 seats is not very easy.
