Very rarely do we see a capital area or an entire region being specifically targeted by a political party for their vested interests. But sadly, this is the case with Amaravati capital region in Andhra Pradesh.
Ideally, the capital region must be nurtured and encouraged by all the leading political parties for the collective good of the state. But in the case of Amaravati, it is the YSR Congress ecosystem, which is completely against the same.
In fact, every monsoon season YSR Congress social media groups run a vehement campaign against Amaravati and a similar scenario is being observed this year as well.
This time around, there are multiple videos that are being shared by YCP groups on social media regarding Amaravati. The main narrative is to project that the entire capital region has been submerged in water due to rains.
At a time, when even developed the cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai face drainage issues during rainy season, Amaravati which is still under construction is bound to face the problem.
This is acknowledge by chief minister Chandrababu as well, considering that he says the city will be developed with best class by system to tackle the rain issue. At the end of the day, there is no city in India that is completely prone to rains.
But this logic is not stopping YCP from continuing on their own path against Amaravati as they’re back on their track by sharing poisonous videos against the capital region for their political gains.
