YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSR Congress is playing in to the hands of the ruling party with its erred strategies. The party is continuously attacking Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu’s claims of previous Congress governments pushing back the state development. However the party is not only defending the YSR regime but also the later Congress governments knowingly or unknowingly. Such a move is strengthening the case of TDP’s claim that YSR Congress is working hand in glove with the Congress party.
The other day, YSR Congress Spokesman criticized Chandra Babu’s explanation to Finance Commission how the previous Congress governments failed the state and called Chandra Babu’s representation as dull and politically motivated. YSR Congress leaders themselves are not completely convinced with their stance on this issue. “We are yet to devise a strategy where we can only defend Late YSR and at the same time criticize Congress. We often end up defending both of them giving wrong signals to the people”, an MLA from the party said on anonymity.
