There are numerous indications and internal murmurs among YSRCP leaders suggesting that the party may not return to power. YSRCP contestants are apprehensive about the reaction of their supporters in case of electoral defeat.

Their primary objective now is to safeguard their cadre while preventing losses to the TDP. Over the past two days, post-election violence has erupted in various parts of Andhra Pradesh, indicating that violence occurred not only during pre-poll and polling days but also after the elections.

Surprisingly, incidents of violence have been reported in Macharla, Tadipathri, and Chandragiri segments. Both TDP and YSRCP cadre have engaged in street clashes, hurling stones at each other.

Further investigation into the ongoing violence revealed an interesting fact: TDP leaders seeking to join YSRCP are required to meet a condition—they must publicly denounce Chandrababu and Lokesh using derogatory language before being accepted into the YSRCP fold.

This stringent requirement effectively bars these leaders from returning to TDP, even if they wish to do so. This strategy, devised by YSRCP, is now being implemented in certain parts of Rayalaseema and Palnadu. Ruling party leaders are intentionally inciting cadre members to attack opponents and act as scapegoats.

If cases are filed against them, they seek assistance for five years, thereby preventing rivals from gaining ground. This calculated strategy seems to be driving the sudden surge in political tensions, which typically subside after polling ends, and the outbreak of violent incidents across the state.

Following the polling, some YSRCP candidates are refining their strategies. With the election results appearing unfavorable for the ruling party, YSRCP cadre morale has dipped.

In response, some candidates are hosting dinner parties to boost morale and express gratitude for their efforts during the elections. Minister Rajani, who contested in the Guntur West constituency, is actively involved in organizing such events to uplift the spirits of the cadre.
